OZARK BANK GOES BACK TO SCHOOL!

We are proud to support both Ozark and Nixa school districts alongside our area Chamber of Commerce partners and fellow businesses to welcome back the teachers for the 2014-2015 school year!
The festivities began on July 30th at the Ozark High School with the 2014 Vendor Fair held in conjunction with the Teachers’ Professional Development Academy. We greeted over 400 teachers and welcomed them back with an array of goodies including a gift basket and gift certificate from Murfin’s Market.
On August 4th we participated in rolling out the red carpet to welcome the new teachers to the Ozark Schools. Ozark Bank employees were assigned a new teacher “lunch buddy” and greeted them on a red carpet, escorted them to lunch and introduced them to all other attendees. It was a great opportunity for us to get to know and support the new members of our school and community. Each of the 35 educators attending received a welcome basket of items donated by area businesses, including iWallet credit/debit card holders that attach to one’s cell phone donated by Ozark Bank. Two lucky winners took home gift baskets courtesy of Ozark Bank.
The last stop on our week of welcoming was in Nixa where we helped the Chamber of Commerce greet 37 new teachers to the Nixa school system. The lunch was well attended and the new teachers got the recognition they deserved along with gift bags and door prizes for all.
We realize how important education is to our community and are thankful to be a part of such great school districts! We would like to wish everyone a great school year to come!
Katie Hedgpeth-Baker and JaDonna Rice congratulate the new teachers and winners of the two gift baskets donated by Ozark Bank.
